New Orleans bassist, composer and producer brings his Billboard #1 Blues album to the stage by featuring the very world-class musicians of the Crescent City that helped forge the record’s international success.  In a style akin to the historic live concert of 1976, The Last Waltz, Zucchero ushers the audience through an eclectically powerful performance of the “Electric Church” songbook with each of the original lead vocalists crooning a mini-set of tunes: Johnny Sansone, “Sunpie” Barnes, Johnny Rawls, Ghalia Volt, Jonathon “Boogie” Long, Dale Spalding, Leslie Smith and Jeremy Joyce  all deliver their unique vocal character in songs from the record, and beyond.

In addition, the backing band consists of the original studio performers Jason Ricci, Papa Mali, John Fohl with Tom Worrell on keyboards and Eric Bolivar on drums and of course Dean Zucchero on bass.

Stylistically, the music strokes broadly ranging from tough blues-rockers, to funky struts, to even porch-style Delta tunes. It’s all there in a full two hour show of outstanding musicianship, exquisitely crafted arrangements and savvy songwriting by Dean Zucchero and his super team.
